PARK WORK DAY

SACG volunteers gathered and worked on spreading more crushed limestone on the walking trail in Memorial Park and weeding around the trail and new trees. New mulch was put down around these trees, as well as the ones in the east parcel of the original city park. A few folks did some weeding in the flower bed around the Welcome to Shellsburg rock and then we checked out the stream bank project in city park and cleared away some sand that had deposited during a recent flash flood.
