PRAIRIE FOREST TRAIL CLEANUP

Nineteen members of SACG plus two community volunteers (who help care for the Shellsburg prairie) came and helped tidy up the Prairie Forest Trail. Small branches were cut away from the trail, dead limbs overhead were removed, trash was picked up and a skid loader was used to push a large dead tree down so it didn’t create a safety risk. And five wooden benches that convert into tables for school children activities were taken out of the timber and spray washed and these will treated with a product that will protect them for future use. Thanks to the many volunteers who helped!!
