CITY RECREATION DEPARTMENT DONATION

SACG donated $2,000 to the Shellsburg Recreation Department for their project to bring improvements to the ball diamonds at the Shellsburg Elementary School. The ball diamonds are used by Shellsburg area children for their summer ball leagues and the Shellsburg Recreation Department also hosts tournaments which brings people from many other towns to Shellsburg. Funds were utilized to replace the backstop fencing, a needed upgrade.
