CITY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

With the completion of the new streetscape on the west side of Pearl Street and around the corner onto Main, there were fourteen new light poles to be decorated. The city purchased lighted Christmas garland and banners for the five poles on Pearl, but was going to postpone purchasing the remainder for another year. SACG donated $2,331 to the city so the remaining nine light poles could be decorated and showcase the new streetscape. Additionally, the SACG Economic Development committee arranged for a video of the lighted downtown to use as a marketing tool.
