SACG voted to contribute $300 to the Shellsburg Legion Riders for the maintenance of the Benton County Freedom Rock. In June of 2019 SACG presented Brian Vogt with a check for $2,000 to be used in his renovation of the historic Shellsburg Savings Bank. The city of Shellsburg was awarded a Community Catalyst Building Remediation grant and this monetary contribution as well as SACG’s offer to provide a donation of in-kind labor when possible, was done to establish a funding partnership with Brian toward the goal of this renovation.
