FAMILY FUN NIGHTS
June 13 and July 19, 2019
For the fifth year, SACG provided Family Fun Nights in the city park. Children enjoyed a “bouncy slide”, sidewalk chalk, giant frisbees, games provided by the EMS volunteers, a Kids ID station provided by the Benton County Sheriff’s Department, decorating visors provided by the Shellsburg library, bunnies and puppies to pet provided by the FFA, basketball, bags and making s’mores. In July it was “water night" with Kiddie Waterball and another water game provided by the Shellsburg Fire Department, more games by the EMS volunteers, water balloon toss, an oobleck pool provided by Train Station Fitness, lots of bubbles, a sprinkler, live music and snow cones. There was a fabulous turnout each evening and families enjoyed the free activities and socializing. SACG thanks all the community businesses and organizations who helped make these nights successful!
