BEV WHITE MEMORIAL BENCH

Beverly and Marshall White were SACG members since its formation and were involved in many community improvement projects. Their family made an important donation to SACG in 2021 to honor the passing of Beverly and Alan White (son of Beverly and Marshall). At the request of the family, a memorial bench was placed at the north edge of Shellsburg City Park and two oak trees were planted nearby. Jay Herman, a good friend of Marshall and Beverly, provided leadership on this project and coordinated the installation of the bench with city officials. Jay and another SACG member, Bob Thorkildson, assembled and installed the bench.
