SACG’s Horticulture Committee continues to plant and care for flowers around Shellsburg. There are 17 pots that they've planted and water at least three times a week. They also care for the Memorial Park flower bed, the flower bed at the "Welcome to Shellsburg" Rock and the native plants at the Prairie Forest Trail. They recently added the decorative grasses at the entrance to Memorial Park. During the summer, committee members meet twice a month to weed and mulch the flower beds and keep things looking tidy. Their efforts keep Shellsburg looking colorful and inviting.
