MEMORIAL PARK TRAIL LOOP

As one part of the SACG Parks Committee's plan for 2023, community volunteers gathered in Memorial Park to complete the trail loop. The Memorial Park Trail was first constructed in 2016, but with some holdups due to the Railroad property ownership, completion was put on hold. After the city successfully negotiated an easement deal with the railroad, the loop was able to be completed. One lap around the loop is .2 of a mile. A big thanks for the many volunteers we had to help SACG bring this project to life, and especially to those who brought their heavy equipment.
