CITY FLOWERS
SACG’s Horticulture Committee continues to plant and care for flowers around Shellsburg. The Memorial Park and "Rock" Park garden as well as the display beds at the entrance to Prairie Forest Trail are only part of what they tend to. There's also approximately 20 planters around town which they plant and water three times a week all summer long. This committee meets twice a month to weed the gardens, mulch and transplant when necessary, keeping everything looking tidy.
