BIG DAY

This annual event is held on the third Saturday of July each year. SACG joins the city, local businesses, organizations, and residents to make this a family fun day for everyone. The SACG parade entry this year promoted the Children's Music Garden in City Park. SACG also provided inflatable items and a rock climbing wall for children to enjoy, and our annual corn hole tournament, this year with 10 teams. We had a booth in the park with information about our organization hosted by SACG volunteers featuring a drawing for a toy xylophone and gift cards to four local Shellsburg businesses. Two SACG members even constructed a pair of kid's games. Fun was had all day, even with the hot weather!
