SACG member Pauline Grovert passed away last year. At a recent SACG meeting, two guests, Rita Fix and Jenny Janssen, both from Vinton, were present to share a donation from Eden Community Aid in the amount of $200 on Pauline's behalf. They expressed Pauline's love for Shellsburg and her appreciation for SACG's efforts to beautify Shellsburg's city parks. Twelve perennial plants were purchased with the donation and were planted in her memory.
